In its 22nd year; It was held in Fişekhane on Thursday, November 24 with the participation of opinion leaders, technology and information sector stakeholders, academics, business and public world managers and non-governmental organizations. At the summit, which was held with the main theme of "Technology Will Save the World", technologies that will ensure the continuity of human and natural life were discussed.
The 22nd Informatics Summit, which is held every year to determine and develop the roadmap of technology and informatics, which has become a must for individuals, companies and countries, was held in Fişekhane on Thursday, November 24 with the theme of "Technology Will Save the World". The summit, where it was underlined that the nature that we have polluted for the sake of technology can only be cleaned with technology, and that many problems will be solved by technology with correct and smart use, hosted its guests in the physical environment this year. The opening program started with the speech of BTHABER Group of Companies President Murat Göçe. Referring to the results of the research conducted by M2S Research Company before the summit, Göçe said, “79 percent of the people participating in the research say that the biggest factor for the sustainability of the world is technology. However, the majority of the respondents think that the correct use of technology will quickly affect the ecological balance and carbon emissions. So hope is in technology!” Murat Göçe also briefly shared the main theme of the next year with the participants. Göçe said, "We will hold the 23rd Informatics Summit, which will take place on November 23, 2023, on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, with the theme of 'Enigma' in the 23rd bracket from 1923 to 2023." The keynote speech of the summit was delivered by SAP Global Director for Purpose and Sustainability, Academician, Author Dr. Erdem Aksakal made it. In his speech titled "From Wish to Reality", Aksakal said, "The greatest potential to turn good wishes into reality in order to save the world is in technology. If financial institutions rely on technology to process trillions of data at any moment, and educational institutions to record an almost endless amount of information, that power for our world will also come from technology.” said.

Speaking at the opening program of Bilişim Zirvesi'22, T.C. Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan underlined that it is a necessity for every sector to keep up with the developments in the digital world, “Technology exists not only to configure our future, but also to save it. Today, data storage, analysis and transformation into value has become a very important market. Global spending on cognitive and artificial intelligence systems is expected to reach $190 billion in 2025. With the awareness that countries cannot have a say in the long term by using products produced by others, we continue our production activities especially for our high technology sectors such as communication and defense. Spending on digital transformation services worldwide is expected to reach $2.3 trillion in 2023. We implement the right policies at the national level and continue our joint work at the international level so that our citizens can benefit from digital technology together with the whole world and protect them from cyber threats. Eco-friendly solutions and sustainable solutions in technology are very important to us.” He noted that they prioritize developing these solutions for our future generations and our world.

Presidential Economic Policy Committee Member Dr. Hakan Yurdakul stated that Turkey is an interesting country in terms of entrepreneurship and said: “There is a concept called new work intensity. In other words, people in the working population between the ages of 15-64 are starting new businesses. Turkey ranks last in the OECD with 1.8 companies per 1000 people. The OECD average is 6.3.
